Cabins at The Lazy Buffalo nestled among the foothills of the
Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge
Just Opened Summer 2019
The Rojo Buffalo Cabin portrays the heritage of the buffalo. In 1907, our lil town was in great excitement
as 15 of the finest buffalo
arrived by rail in heavy crates.
Even Quanah Parker was there
to witness this historic event.
The Silver Spur Cabin portrays the Wild West Era. Our once lil western town was rumored to have its share of famous outlaws, such as Belle Starr and Jesse James, pass through it.
The Lost Iron Door is still
waiting to be found.
The Chief Cabin portrays the life of the Great Comanche Chief Quanah Parker. This cabin is a half mile from the original Quanah Parker’s Star House.
The Take a Hike Cabin portrays the captivating landscape that awaits you in the Wichita Mountains. Find miles and miles of trails ready to be discovered.

4 Cabins at The Lazy Buffalo
Perfect for Family Reunions
and Large Groups
Newly built in July 2019,
The Lazy Buffalo consists of 4 vacation rental cabins that are themed to capture the essence of the Wichita Mountains and the history
of our hometown.
Three of the cabins sleep four with two queen beds and our handicap accessible cabin sleeps two with a king bed.
The cabins include a tiled walk in shower. We used barn wood, knotty pine, and corrugated tin throughout the cabins. The dark stained concrete floors and tin ceilings really add a rustic yet elegant touch.

We have lived in Southwest Oklahoma for over 60 years. We love our hometown of Cache. Our area is rich with History and offers endless things to do and discover.
The Wichita Mountains are right in our backyard and we get to enjoy their beauty every day.
Even though we are located at the intersection of two highways
(Scenic Hwy 115 and US Hwy 62)
we still have that rural feel.
The Lazy Buffalo is a half mile from the original Quanah Parker’s Star House and minutes from Lawton
Fort Sill and historic Medicine Park.
Location Location Location: just outside the entrance to the Wichita Mountains and a quick drive to Lawton Fort Sill
